Periclistus vectensis
Taxonomy
Andricus vectensis was named by Cockerell (1921). Its type specimen is BMNH I. 8923, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Brodie coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Periclistus vectensis by Pujade-Villar and Peñalver (2019).
