Taxonomy
Dendrocrinus springeri was named by Kolata (1975) [Dendrocrinus ? springeri]. Its type specimen is NMNH S5697, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Quienquecaudex springeri by Brower (1995).
