Taxonomy
Pseudochrysopa harveyi was named by Makarkin and Archibald (2013). Its type specimen is RBCM.EH2012.003.0001.001, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Driftwood Canyon (RBCM collection), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine shale in Canada.
