Archaeochrysa fracta

Taxonomy
Palaeochrysa fracta was named by Cockerell (1914). Its type specimen is MCZ 3349, a forewing (finely preserved, missing very base of wing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Wilson Ranch, Florissant, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large horizon in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.

It was recombined as Archaeochrysa fracta by Adams (1967) and Makarkin et al. (2022).
