Daohugosargus eximius
Taxonomy
Sharasargus eximius was named by Zhang et al. (2008). Its type specimen is CNU-DB-NN2007014, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2007 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Daohugosargus.
It was recombined as Daohugosargus eximius by Zhang (2012), Zhang (2014) and Grimaldi and Barden (2016).
