It was recombined as Martinia planoconvexa by Arthaber (1900); it was recombined as Ambocoelia planoconvexa by Tschernyschew (1902), Mansuy (1913) and Kozlowski (1914); it was recombined as Spirifer (Martinia) planoconvexus by Frech (1911); it was recombined as Crurithyris planoconvexa by Chronic (1953), Liao (1979) and Li et al. (1986).
