Seismophis septentrionalis

Taxonomy
Seismophis septentrionalis was named by Hsiou et al. (2013). Its type specimen is VT-1221, a set of vertebrae (Posterior trunk vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Falésia do Sismito, which is in a Cenomanian coastal horizon in the Alcântara Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Seismophis.
