Yantaromyrmex samlandicus
Taxonomy
Iridomyrmex samlandicus was named by Wheeler (1915). Its type specimen is B 5390, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Konigsberg collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Anonychomyrma samlandica by Shattuck (1992) and Heterick and Shattuck (2011); it was recombined as Yantaromyrmex samlandicus by Dlussky and Dubovikoff (2013).
