Ponerites coloradensis
Taxonomy
Ponerites coloradensis was named by Dlussky and Rasnitsyn (2002). Its type specimen is USNM 495896, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Paleoburn, locality 40190, which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the Green River Formation of Colorado.
