Ponerites hypoponeroides

Taxonomy
Ponerites hypoponeroides was named by Dlussky and Rasnitsyn (2002). Its type specimen is USNM 495991A, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Denson site, locality 41223, which is in an Uintan lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the Green River Formation of Colorado.
