Emplastus britannicus
Taxonomy
Dolichoderus britannicus was named by Cockerell (1915). Its type specimen is USNM 61413, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Brodie coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Emplastus britannicus by Dlussky and Perfilieva (2014).
