Dolichoderus vectensis
Taxonomy
Dolichoderus vectensis was named by Donisthorpe (1920). Its type specimen is BMNH I.9198, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Brodie coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
