Taxonomy
Bucklandula striata was named by Handlirsch (1906). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is 8 km north-east of Witney, near the village of Stonesfield (Brodie Coll), which is in a Bathonian marine shale in the Taunton Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
