Gnamptogenys europaea

Taxonomy
Ectatomma europaeum was named by Mayr (1868). Its type specimen is No. 157, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Danziger Naturkundemuseum Menge collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was recombined as Gnamptogenys europaea by Spahr (1987), Dlussky (2002), Dlussky (2009) and Camacho et al. (2022).
