Taxonomy
Eocenomyrma orthospina was named by Dlussky and Radchenko (2006). Its type specimen is MZ 13434, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (Museum Ziemi collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
