Nesomyrmex dominicanus
Taxonomy
Leptothorax dominicanus was named by de Andrade (1999). Its type specimen is Poinar H-10-1208, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
It was recombined as Nesomyrmex dominicanus by Bolton (2012).
