Taxonomy
Pristomyrmex rasnitsyni was named by Dlussky and Radchenko (2011). Its type specimen is ZMUC 328, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (University of Copenhagen ZMUC, NHMD Collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Denmark.
