It was assigned to Hincksinidae by Bassler (1953) and Pouyet (2000); to Cheilostomata by Sepkoski (2002); to Calloporidae by Schmidt (2003); and to Antroporidae by Bock (2006), Maletz and Bruton (2008), Guha (2013) and Di Martino and Taylor (2014).
