Cassianozyga seelandica
Taxonomy
Cassianozyga seelandica was named by Bandel (1991). Its type specimen is HMCA 3907, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Seelandalpe (Alpe di Specie) (Zardini collection), which is in a Julian reef, buildup or bioherm framestone/packstone in the Cassian Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Cassianozyga.
