Pseudonotidanus politus

Taxonomy
Palaeospinax politus was named by Thies (1992). Its type specimen is GPIT 1702, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Holzmaden (Tubingen collection), which is in a Toarcian marine shale in Germany. It is the type species of Pseudonotidanus.

It was recombined as Pseudonotidanus politus by Underwood and Ward (2004).
