Euomphalus perturbatus was named by Murchison (1839) [Euomphalus perturbatus de Sowerby in Murchison 1839]. It is not extant.

It was recombined as Bellerophon perturbalus by Salter (1865); it was recombined as Bellerophon perturbatus by de la Touche (1884); it was recombined as Oxydiscus perturbatus by Reed (1921); it was recombined as Modestospira perturbatus by Wagner (2023).
