Taxonomy
Orthophlebiites radialis was named by Handlirsch (1939). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Greifswald collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany.
It was recombined as Orthophlebia radialis by Martynova (1948), Willmann (1978) and Willmann (1984).
