Tulipacrinus tulipa
Taxonomy
Tulipacrinus tulipa was named by Kristan-Tollmann (1980). Its type specimen is Universitat Wien V101, a calyx (radial), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is x21, Ruones-Wiesen, western slope of Pralongia, which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Tulipacrinus.
