Tupus orientalis
Taxonomy
Paragilsonia orientalis was named by Zhang et al. (2012). Its type specimen is GMC07QNS001, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shangheyan, Zhongwei County (GMCB coll), which is in a Bashkirian paralic siliciclastic in the Tupo Formation of China. It is the type species of Paragilsonia.
It was recombined as Tupus orientalis by Li et al. (2013).
