Kashmirites armatus
Taxonomy
Celtites armatus was named by Waagen (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chidroo, topmost Ceratite Sandstone, Salt Range, which is in a Smithian marine horizon in the Ceratite Sandstone Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Kashmirites armatus by Spath (1934), Brühwiler and Bucher (2012) and Dai et al. (2023).
