Taxonomy
Shamaraites rursiradiatus was named by Brühwiler and Bucher (2012). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 28019 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chiddru Chi53, Salt Range, which is in a Smithian offshore marl in the Ceratite Marls Formation of Pakistan.
