Floridaophis auffenbergi
Taxonomy
Floridaophis auffenbergi was named by Holman (1999). Its type specimen is UF 190884, a set of vertebrae (precloacal vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is I-75, which is in a Whitneyan sinkhole claystone in Florida. It is the type species of Floridaophis.
