Zygadenia westraliensis
Taxonomy
Mesothoris westraliensis was named by Riek (1968). Its type specimen is AM F.52315, an elytra, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Hill River, grid reference 191523, which is in a Toarcian interdistributary bay siltstone in the Cattamarra Coal Measures Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Zygadenia westraliensis by Martin (2010), Kirejtshuk (2020), Strelnikova and Yan (2023) and Strelnikova and Yan (2023).
