Taxonomy
Grimalantha vulnerata was named by Roháček (1998). Its type specimen is AMNH DR-10-1448, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (AMNH coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic. It is the type species of Grimalantha.
