Leptoconops (Leptoconops) burmiticus

Taxonomy
Leptoconops burmiticus was named by Szadziewski (2004). Its type specimen is BMNH In.20700, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (Swinhoe collection, BMNH), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.

It was recombined as Leptoconops (Leptoconops) burmiticus by Borkent (2013), Szadziewski (2018) and Borkent and Dominiak (2020).
