Leptoconops (Leptoconops) nosopheris
Taxonomy
Leptoconops nosopheris was named by Poinar (2008). Its type specimen is OSU BD-47b, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin Amber (Poinar collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
It was recombined as Leptoconops (Leptoconops) nosopheris by Borkent (2013), Szadziewski (2018) and Borkent and Dominiak (2020).
