Taxonomy
Rudybole depressa was named by Feist and McNamara (2013). Its type specimen is WAM 11.59, a pygidium (tail), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 13. Casey Falls, McWhae Ridge, which is in a Frasnian perireef or subreef limestone/siltstone in the Virgin Hills Formation of Australia.
