Taxonomy

Eudesia rollieri was named by Farag (1962). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Eudesia (Sphriganaria) rollieri by Alméras et al. (2010).

Sphriganaria elliptica was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Khashm Mashraq, S1001, which is in a Bathonian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Eudesia (Sphriganaria) rollieri by Alméras et al. (2010).
Sphriganaria eximia was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Dhruma, S1162, which is in a Bajocian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Eudesia (Sphriganaria) rollieri by Alméras et al. (2010).
Sphriganaria lirata was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Dhruma, S1160, which is in a Bathonian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Eudesia (Sphriganaria) rollieri by Alméras et al. (2010).
Sphriganaria obesa was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is KK9, Khashm Mishraq, Micromphalites Zone, which is in a Bathonian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Eudesia (Sphriganaria) rollieri by Alméras et al. (2010).
Sphriganaria varicostata was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Dhruma, S1170, which is in a Bajocian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Eudesia (Sphriganaria) rollieri by Alméras et al. (2010).
