Taxonomy
Burmirhynchia gregoryi was named by Weir (1929). It is not extant. Its type locality is Bihendula (basal echinoid Bihin limestone), which is in a Bathonian/Bajocian carbonate limestone in the Bihin Limestone Formation of Somalia.

It was recombined as Kutchirhynchia gregoryi by Alméras et al. (2010).
