Yuanotherium minor
Taxonomy
Yuanotherium minor was named by Hu et al. (2009). Its type specimen is IVPP V15335, a maxilla (Partial left upper jaw with anterior three postcanines), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wucaiwan area (unknown locality), which is in an Oxfordian terrestrial horizon in the Shishugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Yuanotherium.
