Taxonomy
Pseudodontornis tenuirostris was named by Harrison (1985). Its type specimen is NHMUK A5428, a mandible (Portion of left mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oldhaven beds, Herne Bay, which is in a Paleocene/Eocene foreshore horizon in the Oldhaven Beds Formation of the United Kingdom.
