Taxonomy
Beecheroscapha bispinosa was named by Becker and Wang (1992). Its type specimen is NIGP 115780, a valve (right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Damaoqi, sample H45, which is in a Wenlock/Ludlow carbonate limestone in the Bateaobao Formation of China.
