Taxonomy

Parafollicucullus was named by Holdsworth and Jones (1980) [Sepkoski's age data: P Sakm P Guad-l]. Its type is Parafollicucullus fusiformis.

It was synonymized subjectively with Pseudoalbaillella by De Wever et al. (2001).

It was assigned to Albaillellidae by Cornell and Simpson (1985); to Spumellaria by Sepkoski (2002); and to Follicucullidae by Noble et al. (2017).

Haplodiacanthus was named by Nazarov and Rudenko (1981) [Sepkoski's age data: C Step-u P Leon-l Sepkoski's reference number: 535]. Its type is Haplodiacanthus anfractus.

It was synonymized subjectively with Pseudoalbaillella by De Wever et al. (2001); it was synonymized subjectively with Parafollicucullus by Noble et al. (2017).

It was assigned to Spumellaria by Sepkoski (2002).
Pseudoalbaillella was named by Holdsworth and Jones (1980) [Sepkoski's age data: C Bash-u P Guad-l]. Its type is Pseudoalbaillella scalprata.

It was synonymized subjectively with Parafollicucullus by Noble et al. (2017).

It was assigned to Albaillellidae by Cornell and Simpson (1985); to Spumellaria by Sepkoski (2002); and to Follicucullidae by De Wever et al. (2001) and Thassanapak (2015).
