Taxonomy
Juvavites multicostatus was named by Krystyn (1982). Its type specimen is GBA 1979/05/60/1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is West slope of Thini La, which is in a Lacian coastal sandstone/marl in the Tarap Formation of Nepal.
