Taxonomy
Cuccoceras yoga was named by Diener (1907). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Muth ("Muschelkalk"), which is in an Anisian marine horizon in India.

It was recombined as Platycuccoceras yoga by Bucher (1988).
