Isculites meeki

Taxonomy
Ptychites meeki was named by Hyatt and Smith (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Star Canyon, West Humboldt Range, which is in an Aegean carbonate limestone in Nevada. It is the type species of Alloptychites.

It was recombined as Alloptychites meeki by Spath (1951); it was recombined as Isculites meeki by Silberling and Nichols (1982).
