Dominimyza tanyacaena

Taxonomy
Dominimyza tanyacaena was named by Poinar (2014). Its type specimen is Poinar amber collection (accession # D-7-140), an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber, La Toca mine (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the La Toca Formation of the Dominican Republic. It is the type species of Dominimyza.
