Brea 1995Xilema de porosidad difusa, con una densidad de poros de 14 por mm², poros en su mayoría solitarios redondeados u ovales, múltiples radiales cortos y largos, también se presentan en racimos. Elementos vasculares de 135 µm con un diámetro de 68.8 µm (promedios). Placa de perforación simple, con tabiques algo inclinados de contorno oval. Punteaduras intervasculares areoladas de contorno ovaladas u hexagonales con abertura interna inclusa, alternas a opuestas.
