Asiamericana asiatica
Taxonomy
Asiamericana asiatica was named by Nessov (1995). Its type specimen is CCMGE 460/12457, a set of teeth, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is CBI-14, Dzharakuduk II, which is in a Turonian/Turonian fluvial sandstone/conglomerate in the Bissekty Formation of Uzbekistan.
It was recombined as Richardoestesia asiatica by Delete (1995), Sues and Averianov (2013), Sues and Averianov (2015) and Tanaka et al. (2021).
