Mogsonomus tophus
Taxonomy
Mogsonomus tophus was named by Kalugina (1985). Its type specimen is PIN 3084/13, an exoskeleton (female), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mogzon (PIN collection 3084), which is in an Oxfordian/Kimmeridgian lacustrine mudstone in the Badin Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Mogsonomus.
