Pervushovisaurus campylodon

Taxonomy
Ichthyosaurus campylodon was named by Carter (1846). Its type specimen is SMC B20644, a partial skull (Upper and lower jaws), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ichthyosaurus campylodon type, which is in an Albian/Cenomanian marine horizon in the West Melbury Marly Chalk Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Myopterygius campylodon by Delair (1960); it was recombined as Platypterygius campylodon by McGowan and Motani (2003), Kolb and Sander (2009) and Ji et al. (2016); it was recombined as Pervushovisaurus campylodon by Moon (2019).
