Diplocynodon elavericus
Taxonomy
Diplocynodon elavericus was named by Martin (2010). Its type specimen is Rhinopolis B3, a skull (Almost complete skull with mandibular fragments and some osteoderms), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Domérat, which is in a MP 18/MP 19 channel claystone in France.
