Taxonomy
Gyronites radians was named by Waagen (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chitta-Wan near Ghari, lower Ceratite Sandstone, Salt Range, which is in a Smithian carbonate sandstone in the Ceratite Sandstone Formation of Pakistan.
