Gyrophiceras vermiformis

Taxonomy
Gyronites vermiformis was named by Waagen (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chidroo, lower Ceratite Sandstone, Salt Range, which is in a Smithian marine sandstone in the Ceratite Sandstone Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Gyrophiceras vermiformis by Spath (1934); it was misspelled as Gyrophiceras vermiformes by Wang and Chen (1979).
