Stenarcestes leiostracus

Taxonomy
Arcestes leiostracus was named by von Mojsisovics (1875). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sandling, red Gastropoden beds, which is in a Lacian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.

It was recombined as Stenarcestes leiostracus by von Mojsisovics (1902) and Shevyrev (1995).
